About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live and continue to be happy.

ABOUT ME

There are three things I solidly believe in, and they are quotes. First, life is study. We are constantly learning and experiencing the world around us, accumulating knowledge of how to exist. Second, reality is merely and illusion, albeit a persistent one. I see the world according to my mind and perceptive abilities. Your view of the world is different from mine, therefore, our realities are unique and distinct. Third, the only completely consistent people are dead. Life happens and we can't be completely consistent...enough said

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Host me! I need some experience.

Interests

I love cooking and baking; reading is swell; laughing is the best. I like to go out for hikes, bikes, walks, and general exploration of this amazing country I am residing in for the time being. I love nature, and although I don't like insects crawling on me, or flying into my face, I will get up close to them to inspect them. I am up for most outdoor adventures that will not leave me dead or hanging off a cliff/with broken limbs. I like down/quiet time, which I will spend reading, or watching movies/tv shows, making art, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: most genres are worth checking out. I do like hip-hop, electronic, classic rock, indie-rock, folk, world music, jazz, funk, the list continues. I don't like hardcore rap, death metal, screamo, or experimental noise music.
Movies: Sci-fi, horror (not gruesome horror though), action, rom-com, indie, foreign flicks.
Books: "The Power of One" is definitely my favorite book of all time, and I suppose "The stars my destination" comes in at a close second. I spent the first 7 years of my life in my father's book store, so books are in my blood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent one month backpacking through Guatemala, Belize and Mexico. Las Cuevas de Lanquin/Semuc Champey- Coban, Guatemala: Thrilling
Tikal- Maya ruins in Guatemala: Humbling and Inspiring
Lamanai- Maya ruins in Belize: What a vista.

Hike and bike rides in Aspen, Colorado.
Cathedral Lake Hike- first time nature brought me to tears.

Teach, Learn, Share

Never impress your culture, religious beliefs, life perspective onto how others should behave. There is no one right way. Every one is different.

Also, you can't fix anyone, you can only fix yourself.
