About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Figuring it all out.
ABOUT ME
I am a pretty easy going and curious person. I enjoy interacting with people, meeting new friends, trying new things and being outside. I have traveled quite a bit and learned that it´s my greatest passion in life. Not a big party person anymore.. I prefer conversations and also my own company at times. Although I really enjoy a beer at the pub!
PHILOSOPHY
Everything happens for a reason and every experience you make and person you encounter can teach you something.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can host guests here in Munich. As well I would love to stay with people on my trips.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet! I think it´s a great project and am ready to have my first cs experience.
Interests
My biggest interest has always been traveling. It´s my passion and you learn so much from it. I am happy to say, that I made my passion my profession and that I am finishing my Bachelor´s degree in Tourism Management atm. I honestly enjoy what I learn and believe in honest, sustainable, slow tourism.
I enjoy learning new languages to be able to interact with people of all different cultural and regional backgrounds.
Cats, dogs, horses... I love animals and have to stop myself from adopting any little cutie out there.
I am happiest when I am in the mountains. I hike a lot and go skitouring in the winter months.. Can´t get enough of the peace and calm only a summit can give you - I also live for the views. Maybe you can tell by now, that I am a country pumpkin from the bottom of my heart. I grew up in the Bavarian countryside in Southeast Germany and although I have lived in Munich for several years now, I flee the city pretty much every weekend.
Cultural exchange is important to me and I´d love to hear your story.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC
I listen to a lot of different kinds of music, but my hero is Freddie Mercury and Queen is my favorite band. I also love Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones and Classic Rock in general.
BOOKS
I read a lot, but am the worst at memorizing author´s names. Thrillers and crime novels capture me a lot of the tame or any travel themed books. Some of my absolute favs, that I can think of the top of my head: The shadow of the wind by Carlos Ruis Zafon, Faust by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, The boy who granted dreams by Luca Di Fulvio and the Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. I realize those are all not crime novels or thrillers - I still love them. I try to read books in their original language and therefor also read a lot of German novels.
MOVIES
Same like books: I watch so many movies and can hardly remember titles.
A well-made, honest documentary fascinates me more than any Hollywood production to be honest. I however to love Wes Anderson movies - all of them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going abroad at the age of 16 and living in Australia for 6 months. This experience wasnt´t always easy, but it made me grow up so much. I came back as a completely different person and it has changed me forever - for the better :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love being creative in any kind of way. I enjoy writing, painting, singing, designing - any kind of creativity. I am not an expert in any of these fields, but it calms me down.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good talks! I love meeting new people and finding new friends. I am quite grown up for my age and love to discuss and talk about anything and everything. If there´s time, I will gladly show you around a bit and go for drinks with you - if not, I will give you advice and directions.
