ABOUT ME

I was born in Romania and moved to Canada when I was 3. Then we moved around every 2-3 years so that gave me a taste of travel in a sense that when I settle down for too long I get bored.

So I left my start up in the good hands of my associate and traveled europe for 4 months. Since then I try to get out of the country at least once a year, Boston, New York are easy access. Romania was a destination to connect back to my roots. Next is a road trip in the states!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed while I spent 4 months in Europe in 2010 and loved the experience. I haven't been able to host since then but I hopefully will be able to this year! Yay!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some couchsrufers in Quebec last summer before going to Europe for 4 months and couchsurfing myself. It was amazing to meet all those lovely people that made my trip so much better :) I'll be happy to give back when possible :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Armin van Buuren, soundtracks, owl city, the beatles, metric, The killers, Die Toten Hosen, Queen ... and I'll pretty much find something I like about anything you might make me listen to!
Movies: Across the Universe, V for Vandetta, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Carribean, Toy Story, Disney classics, Moulin Rouge, Peter Pan, Les miserables ... I love musicals and very detailed, original, intricate movies that depict other worlds (Science-FI and fantasy)
Books: Harry Potter, This perfect day, Lord of the Rings, The Count of Monte Cristo, Foundation, Enki Bilal's BDs ... I rarely get time to read nowadays but I have the most dear memories of late night reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking the coastal footpath of Cornwall for 23km and finally reaching Land's End.

Participate in All Saints Day in Warsaw and see the cemetary lit up by all the candles. Eerie!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a bit of French ... I think I'll know what people like to learn from me after I get an opportunity to share.

I'm traveling to learn and experience a bunch of new stuff so I'd like to learn all I can.
