About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm currently trying to change careers from Teacher to something psychology/sociology related possibly art therapist!
ABOUT ME
I taught English as a foreign language for over 5 years in Colombia, Portugal, Spain, Japan, England and Australia. I haven't couch-surfed since my trip to Mexico, Guatemala, Peru and the Amazons of Colombia so please excuse the relatively bare profile. I am an experienced traveler and low-maintenance with a relatively good sense of humor....i think?
PHILOSOPHY
Summed up nicely here: ”If you think adventure is dangerous, try routine; it is lethal.”
― Paulo Coelho
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only couch surfed once in Mexico, but enjoy meeting locals and exploring their cities!
Interests
I am interested in Anthropology and culture, but studied Sociology, which I also like. I play the piano decently but need to practice! I enjoy running and will run several half marathons this year plus do some cross-fit here and there (it's too expensive!!). I also like all art forms, mainly photography and ceramics and have dabbled in those too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I rode on the back of a motorcyle from Bogota all the way to the Equadorian border, but didnt actually have time to cross it (Ill do that later). Amazingly, Colombia is incredibly diverse so driving involved crossing through scorching hot deserts, The Amazon rainforest, and frigid cold mountain ranges in the space of 2 or 3 days...plus add some 100 foot drops without any barriers to your impending doom! It was a blast.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a lot of stories!!! And cooking, English Language grammar if you want it! A love for hiking and running and an easy-going attitude.
