About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To bring more adventures into my daily life...
ABOUT ME
This is always the difficult part to fill out... Who am I??Well first of all I live in a very nice two story apartment in a quiet part of the city. Together with me lives my wonderful boyfriend Tobias and his 12 year old son Laurens and our two lovely cats Asterix and Obelix.I would describe myself as an open-minded, optimistic, happy, reflective and smiling young woman... Tobias I would describe as a very loving, hospitable, wise and generous man who is happy to discuss both politics, music, general history, as well as sci-fi & role playing games with anyone willing to engage in the conversation.
PHILOSOPHY
If you smile to the world the world smiles back!
I always try to find the bright side of things - no need to focus on the negative...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We participate by opening our home to travelers and all we expect in return is that you will treate our home with respect and favor us with your company. :-)
(Herby also meaning that if you are only looking for free accommodation this is not the home to surf...)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had some great experiences both Couch Surfing, hosting and participating in CS events and parties.
Can't wait to see what comes next... :-)
Interests
I love cosy cafés - drinking coffee while talking to a friend, playing a game of backgammon or just reading a book by myself...
I like walking around the city looking at all the buildings - old and new - and point out little details about them that I like or dislike or just finds interesting...
I like having friends over on a weekend and enjoying great food, wine, conversations and the company. My boyfriend and I love to cook something nice for people who enjoys a good meal...
I like knowing meaningless stuff - like that an armadillo always gives birth to quadruplets - and other totally useless knowledge...
I love playing with my two cats and often finds myself laughing out loud while doing it...
I like sitting curled up in a corner of my couch with a blanket wrapped around me, a cup of coffee nearby and a good book in my lap...
I like hanging out with a good friend - sharing a bottle of red wine and talking the night away...
And then there is traveling... I love traveling. With family. With friends. Or by myself...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the most amazing thing I've experienced was when I was hitchhiking around in New Zealand with a friend and everything just seemed to bend our way :-)
My boyfriend and I drove 2200 km across India in an Auto Rickshaw to raise money for poor children in India - an amazing experience!
Teach, Learn, Share
Copenhagen is working on being one of the most bike-friendly cities in the world! This is something that I really enjoy and appreciate! There are lot's of nice places to visit and see in Copenhagen and it's very easy getting around on a bike.
I have a couple of spare bikes for my couch surfers (sometimes I lent them out to friends or they need fixing) but if they're avaliable I would love to show you around or if I don't have the time, tell you how to navigate thorugh the city.
