Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world! And to teach good English to them French kids.
ABOUT ME
After graduating from K College in June 2010, I packed my bags and headed to France and taught English in primary schools from Sept '10 to April '11. I spend my summers teaching at The American School in Switzerland in Lugano. Besides traveling, I love to sing, write, act, read and teach Beatles songs to French children.
PHILOSOPHY
When I studied abroad in France two years ago, people told me that I had better take advantage of living in Europe and fit in as much traveling as possible, because who knows when I would get the chance again? My response to that was-- nonsense! I wanted to see the world, and I would make it my life's mission to make it happen. Sure enough, here I am, back in France again for another year. No matter what my future holds, what my future income bracket might be and what career I end up finding, I will make sure that I do the things I want to do and see the things I want to see. If you want to do something with your life, you've got to make it happen!
Interests
Writing, reading, singing, playing guitar, acting, traveling, speaking Franglais and sometimes French, cooking, washing my clothes in the sink to save money, vegetarianism, The Beatles, coffee, getting off a train/bus/airplane in a brand new city waiting to be discovered!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love the Beatles more than anything, but I listen to lots of other music too-- mostly classical, classic rock, folk and jazz.
I'll read anything I can get my hands on, but perennial favorite authors include David Sedaris, Garrison Keillor, Jane Austen, Jonathan Franzen, Dave Eggers and Jonathan Safran Foer.
