Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting amazingly interesting people and discovering new places makes travelling such a wonderful thing to do. When I spent a year in Argentina, living and working in a childrens orphanage, I fortunately had the possibility to explore the country and if it had not been for all those nice couchsurfers that I met along the way there, I certainly would have missed a lot of breathtaking experiences.

A few months ago I moved to Freiburg and therefore I am still discovering the city myself ;). I'm currently sharing an apartment with four other people and two dogs, so it is a bit crowded. Unfortunately I can't invite couchsurfers. But if you are in Freiburg right now, hanging around asking yourself what you could possibly do, I would love to give you a few hints :).

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reading and I really enjoy using it as a way to slow myself down while travelling. It doesn't matter whether it's a novel or a thriller, if it's a good story, I like it :). My taste of music is divers and really depends on the mood I'm in. Indie rock and electronic music (Bonobo) and irish folk songs are dominating my playlists at the moment, but there are also moments, when rock music is absolutely needed and from time to time some Blues, Jazz or Tango is welcome as well.
