About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make the most out of every opportunity whether it is travelling, reading, laughing......anything life has to offer

ABOUT ME

My name is Laura, I'm 29 and I'm moving to Rostock!!!!
I studied chemistry and biomedical analysis and I start a really exciting new job on Monday.
I have really curly hair that I have to keep tied most of the time due to an awful haircut.
I really love spending time with my little cousin, he is 9 and we have the most amazing conversations. I'm gonna miss him like crazy now that I'm here....
ious!!!)because when I'm with him I get to do all the fun stuff like jumping into every puddle when it rains,
I love the sun when it's not too hot outside, walking under a summer storm in my village and sleeping like there's no tomorrow.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that we have to enjoy ourselves as much as we can, make the most of everything, good or bad to learn and enjoy and grow as a person.
Be kind with everyone (although I know there are some exceptions!!!) because a smile can change our way to see almost any situation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I discovered CS because my friend Talia and I decided to go on a trip around Europe.
We had the best summer of our lives, meeting great people, hanging out with them and discovering the lost corners of each city so, after that, I try to find hosts to make my trips extra special.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think all of my CS experiences have been really good.
Everyone was wonderful, they showed us the incredible view of the Eiffel Tower from the roofs of Paris at night; a really small place that has the best sandwiches of Brussels; a lake just outside Wien to take a swim at nightfall and the colourful nights in Perpignan.
Discovering CS made our trip so much better!!!

Interests

Bufff, this is hard.....
I like so many things that I don't know where to begin.
I like reading a lot, when I start a book that hooks me I can't stop reading until I finish it.
I like travelling, anyplace, anytime, just travel and meeting new places and new people and cross out every country of my globe.
I love dancing and listening to music. In the car, while cooking, in the street.....the worst thing is that in the lab I can't play anything!!!
But the thing I like to do the most is laughing!!!!do crazy things, laugh at myself, make others laught...anything for a smile!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies....there are so many!!!My very favorite is "The Lion King" I think it's amazing and it was the first movie I went to see to a movie theater but I also like very much "The jacket", "Trainspotting", "The number 23" and all that my friends consider weird.
I listen to all kinds of music because you can't stay with just one kind but Rock is the best kind.
And about books lately I mostly read fantasy and some historical narrative.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While visiting London, my friend and I crashed into a velociraptor in the middle of the street!!!
He was with his carer taking a walk!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn everything that everyone is willing to teach me. I think CS is a great iniciative and it will enlarge the lives of a lot of people. Besides a place to sleep, you have the chance to meet amazing people that offers you their house and their joy and wisdom and I think that's amazing.
Something I'd like to teach is that Zaragoza is a great place to visit. Is smaller than Madrid and Barcelona but we also have really beatiful things to be seen, food to be eaten and drinks to be tasted. One tip, never come to Zaragoza in July, it's like beeing in flames because we reach and pass by 40ºC!!!
