I have travelled in the past in a much smaller way on my own but this time will be with my partner Rob.

I love good food, meeting new people, laughing till I cry, animals and dancing. Finding a way to encompass all the above is one reason I like to travel...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have saved enough to spend the year in various forms of paid accommodation but that's not all I want from travelling.
I want to meet as many different people as I can, potentially form friendships and definitely get a genuine insight into the countries I will be visiting.
I want see as much as I can and I feel staying with people will enable me to get to know a place more-especially when I may not be able to spend much time in one place.
Also, would be nice to save a bit here and there!

I am a primary school teacher with TEFL experience and qualification (CELTA) so could always give some English lessons
Have tried a few times to pick up Spanish so any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
