Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm very new at this but for me couchsurfing it's a way of learning about different cultures while meeting people from very different places and creating new friendships.
When I visit a new place I like to not just know the history and sightseeing a bit, but actually learn how people live in that place and try to get the real essence of that place so I love meeting the locals when I travel.
