Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The only time I have couch-surfed was by accident, when I booked a bed in a "hostel" in Budapest that turned out to be some young couple's apartment they had stacked full of bunk beds and listed on a major hostelling website. They were passed out when I arrived late at night and a nice American fellow let myself and my partner in to crash on the love-seat, the only soft surface left to sleep on.
