CURRENT MISSION

To be Kind, to be Compassionate, to Improve the world in these ways

ABOUT ME

I am kind, adventurous, and responsible. I love life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I work toward being present. I volunteer. I help others learn English.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've traveled a great deal, and think I am a good traveler, and an easy-going person. I have stayed at $1.25 a night places in Nepal and five star hotels, and am happy anywhere as long as the people are nice. I began couch surfing three years ago, with a trip to Victoria B.C. another to Mexico City and Morelia, and one to Puerto Rico last year. I also have hosted a couple of people in my home, and met up with several couchsurfers for activities while travelling. I love the open, trusting, adventurous spirit of couchsurfing. I look forward to making new friends, and meeting people in the couchsurfing community around the world, and in my hometown of Portland, OR.

Interests

I am an observer. I can sit at a cafe for hours watching the world go by, or through my camera lens. I am also fun loving and a physical person, who loves to dance (salsa! and any other kind of dancing), hike, sea kayak, play guitar, scuba dive and snorkel, am an avid reader, write poetry at times, socialize with friends, go to cultural events like opera and plays, eat great food (yes, foodie) and drink wine. I have a yoga practice.
