CURRENT MISSION

I am from the USA and have been living in France for the past 3 years and found myself living in a beautiful ecovillage in the south of France since one year ago! I try to travel when I can but being a farmer means I am a bit limited in time depending on the seasons ;)

ABOUT ME

I am relatively outgoing but patient and attentive. I am pretty easy going and try to find a silver lining to every situation. I love animals but am pretty allergic to most dogs unfortunately : /

PHILOSOPHY

I love love! Also, as one quote says... "Happiness is not found by those in a certain set of circumstances, but those with a certain set of attitudes"

Surfing, to meet interesting people, share experiences, conversations and cultural exchanges!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surfing experience happened before I even knew what couchsurfing was! I was on the last train home from late night drinks after work when I realized that 3 people on the train had gotten on the wrong way and went to my city instead of going to New York in the opposite direction. I offered to have them sleep on my couch which they appreciatively accepted and headed out the next morning. ;) Know that I know about 'official' couch surfing, I have just been able to surf as I do not have an eligible place to host surfers right now, but know I will at some point!

兴趣

All sorts! I love being outside and in nature and prefer hiking although I would like to become more experienced in kayaking as well. I love snowboarding and cross-country skiing in the winter. I also love everything to do with food and cooking (mainly vegetarian ;). I am also interested in spiritual evolution through meditation and self reflection and am interested in starting tai chi as well. I am passionate about the environment and creating a sustainable food system but this is a long conversation that can be had when we meet ;)

I love music, especially bluegrass and stuff that is fun to dance to... As for movies and books I don't take enough time to read or watch movies although it would be nice!

Wow... so many...seeing the Northern lights was probably one of the highlights.

I have a lot of patience and can share my love of food and cooking as well as my passion for art and the environment! I am knowledgeable on sustainable agriculture and urban farming, but would love to learn more especially about biodynamic farming, agroforestry, and nutrient cycling (yahoooo humanure! :D)
