ABOUT ME

OK, we know that Xenia, Ohio, isn't tops on most people's list of vacation destinations, but it's often on the way to somewhere! Stop in, stay a bit, and we'll do what we can to entertain you - or leave you alone. We enjoy hearing stories, talking politics, movies, literature. We're engaged in our community, although we tend to be homebodies. We like trivia nights, dive bars, and new experiences. And ... we love people.

PHILOSOPHY

We're all grown-ups. Nobody needs to be told what to think or how to live.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ted likes Thomas McGuane and Jim Harrison; I like mysteries, lately mysteries set in Scandinavia. I like indie films; Ted likes blockbusters and loves political thrillers (House of Cards is one of his favorite things). Our music skews young, and away from most anything you hear on the radio - though we do enjoy some country once in a while.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dayton's conjoined twins, with whom I spent a day for a story I wrote for the local paper. Ted boxed in the Golden Gloves when he was younger. We took a vacation a few years ago on a sailboat, captained by a friend, in Lake Michigan.
