ABOUT ME

Diogo and Laura were born in 1982 and 1980 and both grew up and live in the noble city of Lisbon. Even though we grew up i separate parts of town and never came across each other, we eventually had the dropping-and-picking-up-the-book moment at university in 2004 and we have been together since 2005. We live together since March 2009.

We are both very alike in many ways, we like experiences and both believe all of them are ultimately positive for making one's personality grow and be enlightened.

Sympathy, friendliness and conversation with substance is what anyone will find with us. Our interests cover a lot of different subjects, as we are a couple but not exactly clones of each other. Anyway, we adapt quite well to everyone with clear and nice intentions and attitude, so I guess it is not even an issue. All in all, we are good people.

PHILOSOPHY

We live to live, we live to be loved, we live to fight for what we believe, we live for ourselves, for our family, for our friends. We live our freedom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We came about couchsurfing.com through friends of ours who take in couchsurfers at their homes in Lisbon. In fact, we both think that interaction between nice, educated, friendly, civilized, generous and peaceful people is all but what the world should be about. This is maybe a microcosm of what that could be.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Both of us did a lot of couchsurfing throughout Europe even before couchsurfing had a name. We both lived abroad and also took in a lot of people in our respective homes. We look forward to make the best of the advantages this community has to offer.
