About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a recent graduate, from the great city of Madison, WI. I've lived in Washington DC and San Diego, CA. I loved them both and hope to get back someday soon. I just came back from a year long job at a non-profit that let me travel all across the country, live out of a van, and crash on couches and living room floors. It was the best time, and I can't wait to do some more traveling soon.

PHILOSOPHY

love first. If you approach things with love, towards the earth, other people and the life ahead of you, pretty amazing things will happen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Can't wait to have a place to host people in the future, for now, if I'm in town, I'd be down to show you around and hang out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing yet, but I'm stoked to gain some experience soon!

Interests

I love coffee, Jimmy Stewart movies, farmers markets, and podcasts. I probably love beer more than I love coffee, I have yet to brew my own, but it's happening someday soon. Thrift stores and used books are comforting, and napping outside in the sun is the best.

Music, Movies, and Books

Top five favorite movies are (in order): West Side Story, Rear Window, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Everything is Illuminated, Labyrinth.

All music is joy, but what I'm listening to lately is The Black Keys, Noah Gundersen, The Lumineers, and The Cool Kids.

My two favorite books are The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran and Bluebeard by Kurt Vonnegut

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best experience I've had is traveling across the country living out of a van for three months with some of my best friends. We got to share the documentary films of the non-profit we worked for, while seeing some of the most amazing sights in nature, and getting to know the most beautiful hearts around.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you how to sing Happy Birthday in Portugese....or how to make some tasty vegan baked goods.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Mexico

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
