Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have money to spend on expensive hotels so I must rely on cheap forms of travel and accomodation...couch surfing is the answer to my prayers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I ran into a couchsurfer at a hostel on the coast of Kenya...SO lifechanging!!! I then couchsurfed in Nairobi, felt extremely comfortable, met awesome people, and became eager to couchsurf more and meet all my fellow couchsurfers!

I find myself courchsurfing more than hosting but am open to hosting whenever I have the extra space!

I am very interested in meeting up with local couchsurfers and other traveling couchsurfers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered in Kenya for 5 weeks the summer of 2013. I was a teacher at an orphanage for children aged 3-13. MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE

I worked on a sailboat through the Croatian
Islands

I spent the summer of 2015 working at a hostel in Barcelona.

I've celebrated Mardi Gras in New Orleans (twice)!

I was a volunteer at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio

I've lived in Miami my entire life, one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world, so I would love to share what I've learned, and learn from those around me!

I hope to continue travelling, sharing stories, learning new ones, and adding places to my travel bucket list!
