About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make the most of my passport before it expires.

ABOUT ME
I'm a very laidback, low maintenance, pretty cheery gal looking for an adventure. I like to experience new things and meet new people, easy to talk to. Just started my Master of Arts in History (Archival Studies).
I live with my boyfriend, Alex, who is Francophone and grew up in Winnipeg. Alex is easy-going, likes learning more about people, is very curious, has a serious looking face (resting bitch face) but is, in fact, very nice. He just finished his Masters in Physics. PHILOSOPHY

"It all comes out in the wash", everything will work out in the end.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- anywhere from big band and vocal jazz to classic rock and folk. I can dance to anything (or at least try to!).

Movies- most of my favourites are dramas (Perfume: the Story of a Murderer, The English Patient, Anna Karenina), well-written action flicks (V for Vendetta, the Bourne movies), mob movies, westerns (The Quick and the Dead, anything with Clint Eastwood). Big Wes Anderson fan, and I've got a soft spot for Studio Ghibli.

Books- whenever I'm not reading textbooks, I like reading spy/suspense/mystery novels. Favourite authors are Margaret Atwood, Neil Gaiman, Aldous Huxley, Paulo Coehlo, Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

Teach, Learn, Share

Useless trivia, knitting, the wrong way to make an omelette/the best way to make scrambled eggs. I give guests free local and national history lessons :)
I'd really like to learn to whistle with my fingers! A skill I never mastered!
