About Me
Hello Couchsurfers! I'm happy and grateful to be connected to this wonderful community of free-thinkers and travelers.
I just moved back to Florida after a year living and traveling in Brazil and South America. I am about to begin my journey into higher education, hopefully down the path of history, political science, and language!
Unfortunately I still live at home, thus not being able to host anyone.. but I enjoy the company of well-traveled individuals and I am open to meeting up with people visiting South Florida whenever possible!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing to get something different out of a trip. I would rather stay home than travel in an Americanized, sterilized hotel environment. Staying and meeting up with with locals, especially open-minded, well-traveled individuals makes the experience of travel so much more meaningful!
Interests
I enjoy spending times with friends both in high-energy situations, and intimate, cozy gatherings. I love partying and dancing, though an intimate dinner party appeals to me just as much. When I find the time, I love to do yoga and mess around on the piano. Most of all, I love a nice conversation, shared over a wonderful coffee or drink.

Music, Movies, and Books
Although not much of a movie buff, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo has become my favorite film. Any history book or documentary I devour!
My music tastes jump from EDM to deep house to Fleet Foxes to reggae!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've spent a week living in the middle of the Amazon Rainforest in tribes and indigenous communities. The disconnection from the internet, technology, and modern pleasures opened my eyes to a simpler, more meaningful lifestyle!
Teach, Learn, Share
I hope to learn from my hosts a new way of living, whether it be their quirky bedtime rituals, their hidden gem destination in their city, or even their political opinions.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I want to share with my hosts my stories, my languages, my adventures, my (marginal) cooking skills, and most of all my gratitude!
