About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel, Dine, Smile and Origami.

ABOUT ME

I am a director, performer, producer and aspiring puppeteer! Because who doesn't love puppets?
I also make music and love to cook (especially Australian desserts).
I also enjoy really unoriginal stuff like walking and reading and sometimes breathing. I can teach you all of these skills!
I like collecting dance moves and expressions from foreign countries.

PHILOSOPHY

You'll never be as young as you are this second, so why decide to try something tomorrow when you could get started today?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to bring my own stories and experiences to kitchen tables around the world and, in turn, learn from the stories and experiences of others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've Couchsurfed in Chicago, Los Angeles, Zurich, Paris, Rome, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Amsterdam all in 2011 on my gap year and had the time of my life!

Interests

Collecting true tories and turning them into shows, Puppetry, Food, Origami.
Sitting in dark theatres with a smile on my face.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a mixed bag. For movies I would say my favourite directors are Miranda July, Michel Gondry, Wes Anderson (and many more)

I love swapping Itunes libraries and perusing my friends' bookshelves for new finds. Similarly I'll watch anything provided it doesn't star Keanu Reeves (please don't anyone take offense).

I love the old, tried and true classics - and am always up for a foreign film.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in an indian temple for 1 month in Vrindavan, waking up at 3am each morning to greet the sun. That, or touring the Australia and the UK with my show in 2012.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know some pretty complicated origami and I also know lots of great dessert recipes (including some crazy vegan & gluten free ones)

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, China, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam
