About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to live each day fully and thoughtfully

ABOUT ME

I spent my early childhood living in Asia and at the age of seven, moved to my family farm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I'm currently involved in community development in Syracuse, where I just moved (in time for their famous winter!). I love swimming in rivers, seas and lakes, making art, spending time with friends and family, going on spontaneous adventures, making yogurt and pickles, singing in harmony, observing, growing vegetables and flowers, and most of all: traveling to the far reaches of the globe

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When home I've made my couch available to surfers and been a couch surfer myself while traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed only once so far, in Monterrey, Mexico, and it was great. I'm looking forward to couchsurfing more! I've had my couch listed for a while, but haven't had a surfer yet... be my first!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bungee-jumped the highest bungee-jump in the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about natural building, I've been an ESL teacher and can do that, I know a bit about organic gardening, canning, pickling and bread-baking. I'm interested in learning more about technology (how things work) and I love a good conversation in the realm of social sciences, philosophy, aesthetics, or conspiracy (sometimes).
