ABOUT ME

I'm Laura, I'm 23 and I am fascinated by foreign places, people and cultures.

I think of myself as a friendly and open-minded person :) I love being outdoors, if we had mountains in Denmark, I would probably go hiking all the time.

I come from a smaller island but I now live in Copenhagen because of my studies - and I'm falling more and more in love with the city.

So far I've only surfed but I plan to be able to host in the nearest future too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Atlanta, Georgia - surfed at two awesome hosts.
Asheville, North Carolina - had a great time staying with a lovely lady!
New York, New York - our dj'ing/swing-dancing host showed us how to have a great time in NY!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Back in 2005 I skydived, which was an amazing experience! I would love to do something like that again!
After I finished my first 10 years of school, I went to Great Falls, Montana as an exchange student. I ended up having the most wonderful host family, with whom I'm sure I will never lose contact. I loved it and I've been back to visit two times. My third is coming up next year.
And last summer I went on a roadtrip in America with my family - it was so beautiful and a lot of fun. I especially enjoyed the Redwoods (CA), Zion National Park (UT) and a lunch by snake river in Wisconsin, where we watched laughing people river raft (I so wanna do that some day!).

I love playing cards and would probably be able to teach you some games you've never ever played before. Also, my knowledge about the Danish society is fairly good and if you wanna talk politics I'm up for that too! :P And I love baking cakes and cookies - we should exchange recipes! :D
