About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a curious, bold and easy-going, fond of new experiences, learning and eager to meet new people and their uniqueness :)
PHILOSOPHY
"Whatever you can do, or dream you can, Begin it.
Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.
Begin it NOW."
(Goethe)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have met wonderful people through couchsurfing so far, which l helped me to have a particular insight of the place I was visiting. I am most of the time pretty busy out of the country, but whenever I am in Marseille or Paris, I am happy to host someone for a night or two. Otherwise, feel free to message me for any suggestions out of the usual touristic path, I will let you know about the hidden gems of the city! :)
Interests
Everything, and particularly visual arts, electronic music, linguistics and literature.
My future projects?
* Create an artist residency, with a deaf-friendly approach!
* Finish and publish my first book, a surrealist novel which aims to analyse the "postadolescence" period of life.
I am also looking for sponsors and partners for a circus and contemporary art project on a sailboat in South East Asia, and helping out a graffiti project in Togo!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a contradictory person, loving Jane Austen pretty much as gangsta rap :)). Otherwise, I listen to a lot of different kind of music, and used to sing soul music . I learnt Italian and Russian thanks to Hip hop, but also love classical and world music, as well as techno.
For movies n, I am a big fan of Emir Kusturica, Jan Kounen and Andrei Tarkovski, and in general movies exploring the Arabic world, the surrealist movement.
My favorite book? Les mauvestis, from Frederic Valabregue, a French author from Marseille who talks about the situation of the suburbs in a new way. But I am also fan of Maiakovski and Césaire's poetry.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I worked in a prison for minors in La Paz, Bolivia when I was 19. I started as a singing teacher and came up by setting up an educational programme for them including breakdance courses, photography theatre, carpintery, and so on.
I became a champagne sommelier in London during the Olympics time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would be very pleased to speak fluently Literary Arabic, since I would like to go to an artist residence as a poet in Beirut.
Otherwise, I can help you with your French, English, Spanish, Italian, History of Arts and Deaf culture.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am not the best cook ever, but can do Mediterranean if you dare to taste!
More seriously, I'll be interested in sharing experiences of life, food and drinks, dancing, walking, visiting, going out, etc.. But I'm also respectful of anyone's privacy.
