Overview
About Me
26y/o girl from northern Italy, I've lived for 23 years near Modena, and I've been studying for three years in Trento. Before that, I've spent several months in foreign countries for work (3 months in Fuerteventura, Spain, and 3 months in France, near Orléans).
I study languages for tourism, and I like to chat with easygoing and talkative people.
I love good food, but I'm probably the only italian who doesn't like coffee and onions!!
I love music, and watching movies and tv shows. If you want you can ask me what I'm into, because it often depends on my mood.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
- Meeting new people of different cultures
- Traveling with low budget
- Sharing my experience on anything I know
- Having suggestions from locals on what to visit
- Meeting new people (oops, did I already mention that?)
- aaaaaaand cats. Also dogs, but cats are a ++++++++
Please note also:
- I come from near Modena, the home of Parmigiano, Balsamic Vinegar, Lasagna, Tortellini and so much more. My mum is a great cook, and she taught me the real Emilian cuisine. If I can, I will bring a typical souvenir from the place where I live, and obviously some knowledge about it. I am fond of homemade food, so if I bring something it will probably be food related.
- Besides, I must tell you that I'm a very quiet, clean and tidy person, and I am very respectful of hosts and of the room where I will be staying. I'll let you find the room tidy and clean as much as I expect to find it so.

Music, Movies, and Books
As mentioned before, I tend to change my tastes depending on my mood.
Currently:
- Music: anything folk-indie-rock (Julien Baker, Damien Rice, Keaton Henson, Elliott Smith, Soko, Sun Kil Moon, etc)
- Movies: I really like Almodovar, Wes Anderson, Kubrick, Allen, Xavier Dolan etc. but I'm open to pretty much anything. Last movie I watched is Asphalte.
- Books: I don't have the time to read a lot lately because I'm writing my thesis for graduation, but my favourite author is Pier Vittorio Tondelli. I also like Irvine Welsh, David Foster Wallace, Emile Zola, poetry by Baudelaire, and so on.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-Cooking tortellini during a class in high school with our english teacher. Hilarious anecdote I always like to remember!
-Enjoying a sunset with one of my bestest friends in Fuerteventura, on the top of a mountain, watching the sun diving into the ocean in front of us.
-Loving a person more than I love myself.
-Swimming in a beautiful lake in Trentino during a light summer rain, in the mist.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Languages, Italian (and Emiliana) cuisine, but actually I can try to teach you anything I know
Learn: It depends on what you have to offer!
Share: Tea, drinks, food, time, a chat, a seat on the sofa, a night out!
