American living in London, trying to see as much of Europe as possible before I move back to the States in the fall.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hotels are sterile and hostels are full of visitors, but with couchsurfing you get to actually meet locals and get to know the place you're visiting.

I'm brand new to this but excited to see where it takes me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in a rural Senegalese village for over two years. I had my own mud hut with a thatched roof and everything! I was working on malaria eradication in the community, so I learned the language and talked about mosquito nets. A lot.
