I love to experience new cultures and meet new people, the world is a big and exciting place! I like to get out and about and enjoy each day as much as possible. I'm very friendly and get along with most people.

I'm a christian, so I believe in living each day to the fullest and being thankful for everything! Trying to spread the love however I can :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Have surfed a bit, hosted a bit, and gone to meetings and events etc around the place. Returned to NZ in Oct 2012 after travelling around Europe and Asia so I think I will do a spot of hosting now when my study isn't too hectic!

I joined couch surfing on a recommendation from a guy I met in Japan, who was having a great time using it! I've surfed and hosted a bit since then and will definitely be hosting people now I'm back in New Zealand!

Interests

Running, dancing, travelling, adventures, sewing and creating things, learning spanish, learning to play the ukulele, being outside in nature, listening to any and all kinds of music

Music, Movies, and Books

I have pretty broad tastes but they exclude any horror movies. I can at least appreciate most music genres if not listen to them all the time. Mostly I listen to pop/rock music though. As far as books go, I like biographies, and I like general fiction - don't really have any favourites, it's just way too hard to choose and I have a terrible memory for what I've read and watched !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the vikings burn their longboat at up helly aa in Shetland. Awesome! Also I was a volunteer cast member in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2012 London olympics which was an amazing experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am becoming semi decent at sewing, and am currently taking ukulele and spanish classes so this might change in the near future! I have plans to take up some form of dance class too, but one thing at a time!
Things I'd be keen to learn are french, spanish, the guitar, and the drums. I used to play the drums in high school but my brother somehow now has my drumset and I haven't played since =(
