Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I lived in Colombia, I used to host travelers and friend's friends from other countries and cultures... I was up for a coffee, a beer, a pizza or whatever guests wanted to do.

I also participated in some events like Language Exchanges, Pillow Wars, Love Carpet, Picnics and some others.

Now I just left home and I'm here loving Argentina, so I want to share experiences, meet travelers, learn about music, food, places and everything...

I would like to join CS activities and be able to host travelers again as soon as I stablish myself somewhere with space to share.

Cuando vivía en Colombia, hospedaba viajeros y amigos de amigos de otros países y culturas... Disponible para tomar un café, una cerveza, comer una pizza o acompañarles en lo que quisieras hacer.

También participé en algunos eventos como intercambios de idiomas, guerras de almohadas, tapetes del amor (como pueden ver en mi foto de perfil), picnics y algunos otros.

Recién dejé mi hogar y estoy aquí amando Argentina, así que quiero compartir experiencias, conocer viajeros, aprender de música, comida, lugares, etc...

Me gustaría participar en actividades de CS y poder hospedar viajeros tan pronto como me establezca en algún lugar con espacio para compartir.

Interests

I really really love music; cannot live a day without listening some, and I love it all!!!
I'm not the best dancer but I wish. I like dancing salsa, and most tropical rhythms, and I'm a Zumba fan.
But what I love the most is nature: I can stare at a flower or an animal for hours and still find it extraordinary; I enjoy the same a desert, the sea, the mountains, the forest or the jungle, and could live traveling my whole life (still a lot to do and know)

Me encanta la música, mucho; no puedo vivir un solo día sin escuchar algo, y me gusta toda!!!
No soy la mejor bailarina aunque desearía. Me gusta bailar salsa y la mayoría de ritmos tropicales, y soy fanática del Zumba.
Pero lo que más amo es la naturaleza: podría observar una flor o un animal durante horas, y lo seguiría encontrando extraordinario; disfruto igualmente un desierto, el mar, las montañas, los bosques y la selva y podría vivir viajando toda mi vida (aún hay mucho por hacer y conocer)
El planeta Tierra es lo más hermoso de la vida!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love Hard Rock, Glam and Power Metal, my favorite bands are Def Leppard and Rhapsody of Fire, but also love dancing salsa, merengue, reggae and any tropical rhytms. Depending of my mood I could listen from colombian Cumbias and Vallenatos, to Polka, Celtic, Russian, Viking music; I also like some electronic music DJs, and even Classical Music. So I could listen to any musical genre and will find it good.
Books: I don't read a lot, but I recomend Soloman, The Melancholic Death of Oister Boy, Burton's Poems Book, and Le Petit Prince... I love Edgar Allan Poe's books also.
My favorite movie is Tim Burton's Big Fish, love it!!! I could name lots of movies I would watch over and over again, but particularly I like french cinema, I would recommend some movies like "l'arnacoeur", "les yeux jaunes des crocodiles", "le placard" and "le nom des gens".
I don´t like TV, so I'm out of that topic :(

Música: Amo el hard rock, glam y power metal y mis bandas favoritas son Def Leppard y Rhapsody of fire, pero también me ecanta bailar salsa, merengue, reggae y cualquier ritmo tropical.
Dependiendo de mi estado de ánimo puedo escuchar desde cumbias y vallenatos colombianos, hasta Polka, música celta, rusa, vikinga. También me gustan algunos DJs de electrónica e incluso música clásica. Así que podría escuchar cualquier género musical y lo encontraría bueno.
Libros: No leo mucho pero recomiendo Soloman, La Melancólica muerte del Chico Ostra de Tim Burton, El Principito, y en general los libros de Edgar Allan Poe.
Mi película favorita es Big Fish de Tim Burton, me encanta!!!
Podría listar muchas películasuna y otra vez, pero particularmente me gusta el cine francés, y recomendaría películas como "l'arnacoeur", "les yeux jaunes des crocodiles", "le placard" and "le nom des gens".
No veo TV, así que estoy fuera de ese tema :(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well... a year ago I left my family, my good paid job, my cats, my house and specially my son, who is my entire life, there in Colombia to come here and get experience, study, travel, learn, grow up and draw a better present and future for me and for him... and there is not a single day I don't pray life will allow me to bring him soon...

Bueno... hace un año dejé mi familia, mi trabajo bien pago, mis gatos, mi casa y especialmente a mi hijo que es mi vida entera allá en Colombia, para venir aquí a adquirir experiencia, estudiar, viajar, aprender, crecer y dibujar un mejor presente y futuro para mi y para el... y no hay un solo día en que no suplique que la vida me permita traerlo pronto...

I want to learn recipes and try typical foods. Also learn about the customes and histories of any region or city I visit.
We can practice English together, share a coffee or a pizza, walk by the city and talk about everything.
I'm awesome dancing Zumba, I can teach you to move your body ;)

Quiero aprender algunas recetas de cocina y probar comidas típicas. También aprender acerca de las costumbres e historias de cada región o ciudad que visite.
