I am a 38 year old mother of two and I'm a mental health worker. I will alway travel more. Since I was 16 I've traveled for school (quebec/bc exchange) independently, with groups (CWY), with friends.. with family.. with strangers I met on lonely planet, so long as I trust my gut.
