About Me
This whole form kinda feels like a dating profile.
So I'm 28 this year. Back in education part time after needing to take some time off work so I don't have a weird " ? " on my CV where employment should be. But I love it anyway. I am definitely a lifelong learner and, when it comes to French, a lifetime it might actually take.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I signed up years when I was living in Brussels and a friend of mine always had guests. I saw how fun it could be and the amount of friends he made. I waited till I didn't have flatmates and had my own place but by the time I did I had to leave and go back to the UK!
Interests
Reading, learning (although apparently not much with French) politics, and travelling. One day I hope to live somewhere sunny, even if it's just for a while!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Complete my degree despite the health problems I faced and then go on to complete a masters at one of the top ten universities in the UK. I remember a teacher who once told me at 17 that I wouldn't accomplish anything. Whilst I laughed it off at the time, every tough point I encountered until I graduated made me think back to her comments.
Teach, Learn, Share
No matter how you explain to a European that kissing a stranger to say hello ain't yo thang. It still offends them. What's wrong with a handshake?
What I Can Share with Hosts
The art of not giving a shit.
