I enjoy living in Portland! There are always new things to go see (on the cheap!), and new circles of great people to build relationships with. I know a lot about the city and have recommendations on neat things to do.

Presently I'm trying to balance the freelance life + homeowner life + traveler life. I enjoy my work both as a designer on the computer and in my home, and I've recently got the itch to go see some new places solo-style. Maybe I'm approaching a midlife crisis. Ha!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I bought a house several years ago here in Portland that has room to share. Last winter I fixed it up a TON (and went broke while I was at it!) and now it's a super cozy, super rad place. I love it. I haven't traveled a whole lot since I bought the house, but I've just booked a trip for Spring of 2016 and am polishing my Couchsurfing account to meet people abroad. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left my family and friends on the east coast and moved to a place where I didn't own anything and didn't know anyone. Still kinda feels like a crazy thing to do.
