ABOUT ME

we are two artists living in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Laura and Leo. Laura has two kids but we travel without them whenever we think they will find the trip too hot and or boring. Both of us have travelled loads and as a child laura spent lots of time on beaches in places like India and Greece with her parents and doing a lot of hitch hiking. Leo is originally from England but has spent the last 20 years in various places in Ireland. He likes screen printing, physics and surfing. Laura is from n.i originally and likes socially motivated creativity, the sun and her kids.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We don't have a lot of money but like to travel. We want to travel but meet the people from the country. We meet a lot of couch surfers who come to Ireland and they get to see our lives the way they never would from a hostel. It brings us together. I love it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Leo's mad into radio head- he like lcd spy dayare and hip hop. We both like electronic music to dance too- modeselektor. I like weird music any music as long as it's good music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Um... Hmm. Been lucky enough to have done lots of amazing things lots of times. Recently I went I visited the refugee camp at Dunkirk, France and that was quite a wake up call on the state of play in the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

We both work as practicing artists. I work as both community artist and 3D build and theatre maker. Leo works as a screen printer making his own work for sale. We sometimes work together on specific projects and festivals.
