ABOUT ME
Well...
I'm a 22 year old student studying abroad in Istanbul, Turkey for one semester. In general, I love meeting new people, seeing new parts of the world, and experiencing new things as often as I can.
I love...
Tunes (listening to or playing music)
Full belly laughter
Dance parties
Vanilla pudding
The Little Dipper
Snail mail
Baby dill pickles
PHILOSOPHY
As Mother Theresa said, "We can't do great things, only small things with great love". I truly believe that it is the brotherly, and sisterly love we have for one another, may it be a complete stranger or a close friend, that helps builds a stronger and better community we so desperately need.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the summer of 2010 I spent a month in Thailand. It's difficult to select and sum up my most amazing experience, because there are just so many. If I had to choose one it would be going snorkeling off of "Egg Island" in Phuket, Thailand. The water is SO clear, the coral is amazing, and the fish are so unique and each so beautiful ... but watch out for them jelly fish! They're freaking looking things!
Teach, Learn, Share
I will teach you a phrase that I learned when I was in Thailand: "Mai pen rai", pronounced "My-ben-rie" Or "My-ben-lie" (depending on what part of Thailand you are in, since Thais interchange R's and L's)
Technically, this phrase translates as "It's nothing", but the general meaning is:
Never mind
It's cool
Don't worry about it
No worries.
etc. (I think you get the idea)
It's a sweet phrase that I think more people could use in their high stress, busy lives. So spread it around!
