About Me

CURRENT MISSION

just wondering

ABOUT ME

Still wondering...

PHILOSOPHY

If I were wise enough to think of any personal philosophy, I'ld feel very proud, write a book of at least 978 pages, then buy myself a tv set, watch commercial all day and never wonder again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had quite a few couchsurfers in our flatshare throughout the last years I always enjoyed meeting a new face at the breakfast or dinner table.
I had the chance to couchsurf with great people for a few days in Istanbul, Florence, Bucharest and Paris during the last years. I am very grateful for the hospitality I experienced and for meeting such interesting, freindly people.
Still, I feel, I don't have a lot of experience with couchsurfing yet and I hope to be able to change that soon. So I am expecting many enjoyable moments to come and to share here.

Interests

chatting on the subway, cycling in the rain, coffee in the morning, swimming in cold lakes, hiking alone and together, climbing rocks and mountains, getting lost, watching this and that, dancing before breakfast, laughing out loud in art-museums, being quiet in theatres, reading that and this, brushing my teeth, slacklining, yoga, sleeping in the open, cooking for more than four persons, discussing for more than two hours, smiling for more than two seconds, getting up early enough to see the sunrise

Music, Movies, and Books

wow, this is a difficult question.
a clockwork orange, the museum of innocence, a touch of sin, soul mountain, harold and maud, the republic of wine, the graduate, der prozess, raise the red lantern, die blendung, the man who sold his blood, les chemins de la liberté, les mandarins, baal
hm, ya, there is also Ulysses by James Joyce, that I try to read from time to time, but after page 40 I always feel so stupid and ignorant, that i have to put it down again. maybe when I'm old. maybe in my next life. maybe you can give me a few hints and explanations.
music? less lyrics, more base please.
hm, this is probably going to change tomorrow already, so don't judge from this please...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a really amazing experience this morning, when I got the chance to listen to the gorgeous bubbling and wisthling of my moka pot on the kitchen stove. I silently crept into the kitchen and there it was: sending white fragrant steam into the cold morning air above it. It obviously hadn't, so far, sensed my arrival because it went on with its business without the slightest disturbance. That was a great moment and it promised that even more amazing things were to come in the near future.
