Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel the world, learn more about myself and all the other wonderful people out there
ABOUT ME
I work in mental health services, and am studying psychotherapy part time at the moment also. I’m an open minded and free spirited person.
As a surfer, I'm very respectful of people's space and property.
PHILOSOPHY
Work to live, not live to work.
When people walk away, let them, lifes not about the people who walk away, its about the people who stay in it for the ride!
Never stop learning.
Kindness breeds kindness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I'm home would love to offer my couch to surfers in London or Ireland, wherever I will be! I love showing people around! I have been overwhelmed by the welcoming nature of couch surfers around the world. They are always so pleased to meet people from around the world. I feel people in general in Europe dont have this attitude about tourists, which is sad. Maybe because we have such a huge tourist industry, it doesnt seem important. I think it is very important though, and my experiences here have been a lot more meaningful because of the generosity and friendliness of my hosts. We have a reputation around the world as being unfriendly. I am going to do my best to show people that we are lovely and human too!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love live music, the atmosphere at a gig in Ireland is different to anywhere else in the world. Of course alcohol probably plays a huge part in this, but trust me, you need to see a gig in Ireland to experience our wonderful atmosphere that we call craic.
Electro swing, drum and bass, detroit techno, folk, dub, funk (not the Brazilian kindgypsy, ska....I like a lot of different types of music!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Burning man is pretty mind blowing, a week long event where everyone acts as a perfect human being in a fabulous but harsh environment.
Skydive.
Quiting our jobs and going travelling for an indefinite amount of time was pretty amazing!! Right on :)
Cycled from London to Paris
Swimming and caving in Semuc Champey, Guatemala during my 28th birthday was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. It was also the first time I swam out of my own depth in a natural setting :)
Hiked Volcan Purace in Colombia without a guide, was one of the most peaceful and beautiful days I have ever had in my life.
I have hiked up to 5900m above sea level (Huayna Potosi, Bolivia), almost lost some toes, but it was worth it! Appropriately named mountain po toe si...the mountain that eats toes!
.
Every single couch surfing experience has been so great so far, its a wonderful reminder that people are kind and lovely, and we often need to remember that when the media is constantly telling us the opposite.
Hitchhiking in Chile-meeting some wonderful, kind people who were generous enough to spend their journey with me.
Teach, Learn, Share
For me, everyone is worth meeting. Couchsurfing for me is like an extension of Burning Man into every day life. Like minded people sharing their life and experiences with each other.
I can teach you english, Irish (our native language), our Irish dancing (the least sexiest dance in the world) hula hooping.
