About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore, learn, share.
ABOUT ME
I'm a fan of the ridiculous. Some of my favorite authors: David Sedaris, Tom Robbins, John Kennedy Toole.
I have a big family including a gaggle of cousins - they're my favorite humans on earth.
I'm a yogi at heart (my yoga website: www.fromfishtoyogi.com).
I love music. LOVE. Favorite show of all time: Michael Franti at Red Rocks in Colorado. Close second: Ben Harper in a snowstorm in Vail, CO. Favorite show this year (2017): Ziggy Marley. Favorite artist lately--> Landon McNamara. I haven't seen Landon perform yet, but I'm loving his album (a dollar short and a minute late).
PHILOSOPHY
I live to learn.

Music, Movies, and Books
Comedies. The Big Lebowski (still one of my all-time favorite movies) - but depending on my mood I can also get into foreign films / documentaries (Marley and Helvetica - two favorites). Recent favorite (2017): "The Sounding"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed the Grand Teton (Jackson Hole, WY). Amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
GIVE: I'm a yoga teacher and absolutely love it. I have taught both hatha and kundalini. Lately, I have exploring new and different forms of meditation / breath work (through yoga, the Wim Hof method and others). I'm happy to share what I've learned with others. It makes me very happy to do so.
TAKE: I'm interested in community organizing, art (any form of art), adventure (exploring / hiking / travel), cooking, eco-technology and anything that contributes to the world in a positive / uplifting / peaceful way. I also think you can learn a lot just from basic interaction - especially with some of the interesting couch-surfing souls I've met.
