I love to be in contact with nature: going on hikes, travelling by bike, being stunned by the shape of a tree. I‘m quite a visual person and love making rooms feel cozy with warm colours and will fall in love with a pattern on a piece of fabric or a pottered mug. Being actively creative brings me lots of joy and I want to share that with others. To do that I trained as an art therapist. My awesome wife Chrissie and I live in Leipzig.

Interests

I love animals (including humans) and therefore nature documentaries a lot! I think the best fun one could have is dancing a Scottish Ceilidh, I love it so much.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Brené Brown and all the books I’ve read from her. Also I was very inspired by the book „The Choice“ by Dr. Edith Eger.
My favourite movie at the moment is the musical version of „Mathilda“. Oh man, I love the girlpower, the songs and the choreographies so much! And I love Queereye over the moon!
My taste in music is quite broad, I love: Lizzo, Käpt‘n Peng, Queen, Madsen, Gogol Bordello, Kimya Dawson and more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkelling near Hikkaduwa in Sri Lanka: Just a few meters away from the beach, there was a coral reef in the ocean. It was there, where I met this beautiful big seaturtle just half a meter away from me. And we both looked at each other. It really took my breath away and I will probably still tell this story to my future grandchildren even though they will have heard it a million times.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’d love to hear what your life is all about! Might it be old stories or your current passions. Cooking and eating together is always a good thing to connect, so maybe I’ll learn from you or we make up our own creative dish.
My creative materials are always there to share and maybe we even go painting in the woods? Or we can visit the local community garden.
