About Me

I'm an easy going person. I like to take life as it comes, with its turns and twist. It's made me pretty happy. This means I take spontaneous trips (to random stores or different states/countries) and am definitely willing to try things more then once.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling, it's one of my main passions and so is meeting new interesting people. Couch surfing is the best of both. Seriously its led to meeting a lot of awesome people who I can now call my friends (sorry for the sap, not sorry).

Interests

I enjoy thrift shopping(treasure hunting at charity shops), painting (and many different art forms), eating good food (I'm not too picky though I don't have a very strong tongue against spice), spending time with animals, and gardening (I will be trying to wwoof, so maybe farming as well).

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most movies/books with fantasy or Sci fi elements. Something to laugh at is great, sometimes tears need to be shed but I prefer something that provokes laughter. I'm fond of animation movies from studio ghibli and pixar/disney.

Music wise I am definitely a fan of wispy soft or raspy slow female voices. I'm also partial to techno, mainly pystrance but there's so many branches I haven't listen to yet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This one's hard because amazing can have so many definitions depending on the person. But I've caught 3 tiny goldfish in a paper net and grown herbs from tiny seeds. Gotten two tattoos in berlin in the same week...that's 3 not 1 but well I'm terrible with numbers.

Teach, Learn, Share

Friendship/Positive disposition, I'm learning to make jewelry (so new though), and the art of layering/folding a travel backpack. My half decent cooking and better baking skills.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Help on creative projects, gardening/farm work or a willing companion to try new things (restaurant, cities, etc).

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, South Korea, Spain, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In

Japan, United States
