About Me

Hello!

I am starting a solo trip by the end of the year (2015) beginning in Bangkok and finishing I dont know where yet :)
This has been my dream for a long a time and finally I am going to make it true.

I am going to leave my 40 hours office job (finally!) and have some time for myself and for traveling around. I am eager to see amazing landscapes and immerse myself in the culture of a country without having the deadlines we have when we travel as tourists.

I am a very social individual, love going out with friends, having long conversations and being a part of a group but I also love being by myself. This is why I have decided to start this journey.

For me it would be great to share this experience on the road with other people and I would be very grateful if someone would host me at some point. I think being a host it is a and act of true altruism and I admire it very much.

I love cooking (and eating), walking, biking and hiking (among many other things).
Being open minded is my personal philosophy. I don't think I am able to judge anybody for anything.

For now my main goal in life is to experience truly freedom, having the possibility to be anywhere at any time I want without rush, enjoying every moment as unique.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined as a host but I havent host anyone (sorry!).
I had my profile a little abandoned but I have updated now to start using it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really cant list them properly...
I couldnt live without music and I like all kinds of music that my ears enjoy...
These days my favorites bands are The National, War on drugs, Junip, Herman Dune, Kings of Leon but I have also my old favorites as Yann Tiersen, Pearl Jam, Radiohead....

Same for books, I can read from Lovecraft to Jane Austen without trouble. Some of my favorites: Never let me go, The elementary particles, any book of George Orwell, Resurrection, A confederacy of Dunes, El árbol de la ciencia, Cien años de soledad... and many many more.

I really appreciate when people recommends me music or books, I have made many remarkable discoveries in this way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach English, Spanish and other subjects in a social center in Barcelona. Thanks to that I have discovered that I love teaching and I would like to do it permanently.
