Hi! I’m Laura and I am travelling with my husband Charlie and our two children, Sarah (7) and Lucas (5) in Asia and Europe. We have left Uganda after living there for several years and we are now embarking on an journey through Asia and Europe.

We value connections are curious and love exploring nature. During our trip we really want to connect with other people living in the countries we visit and we love to hear more local insights.

We are respectful, mindful guests who understand the value of other people’s homes and cultures. We are easy-going and enjoy helping whereever we can!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is for us an authentic way to travel. We also love to camp, but since this is not an obvious way to travel in Asia, especially with kids, and we would love to meet not only with other travellers, but also with people that actually live in the places we visit, we would like to do couchsurfing.

We also hope to contribute and learn durng our stays, whether that’s cooking a meal, sharing travel advice, playing with pets, or simply having great conversation after a long day ;-)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

We moved our family to Uganda and built a life there — both working with social enterprises that empower local businesses and communities. We created friendships across cultures, explored mountains and lakes, did safaris and , thoughts our children English, and let our children grow up surrounded by diversity, resilience and many smiles!
