Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had some great experiences through couchsurfing during my studies. I met amazing people and felt cared for by this community. I wasn't solo travelling for a long time but I'm back at it now. I think couchsurfing is a perfect way to connect to people you wouldn't usually meet. It's very inspiring to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to Paris for 3 months when I was 19. I pretended I spoke French (I do, but with about 6 mistakes in each sentence) and applied for jobs in restaurants. I ended up working in a place next to the Roland Garros Stadium where no one spoke English. I'm really happy I followed my naive intuition back then.
