Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live freely, creativly, and always have an underlying compassion to everything that I do
ABOUT ME
I love people, new and old. I have a few too many passions in life so I often find myself attempting to do everything and only getting mediocre results... but that could just mean I have a lot of interests!
I like learning and am pretty open minded.
PHILOSOPHY
Every person on this planet is essentially alone, unless we do something to mold ourselves into something more.
I have also decided that everyone is just trying to be happy and appear cool in the process. That makes people really easy to understand, and makes it really easy to laugh at yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed quite a few different couches, and have hosted a little bit. I have met some very good and dynamic friends off of here, which adds a great dimension to the potential wonders of the couchsurfing community.
Every experience that I have had through couchsurfing has been incredibly positive, and though sometimes the interactions are too brief I am so happy to have met all of the people that I have. I am actually shocked by the quality of experience that I have had through this website!
Interests
I really like watching movies that are so bad they are good.
I love karaoke!
I like doing strange things just for the sake of doing something at all. Sometimes its great, sometimes it just turns up weird.
I really enjoy trying new things, scavenging, eating, cooking, reading, etc.
I love my friends, they are my greatest interest.
I love summer camp! I used to go to one that felt like my second home.
I love the physical environments of the world, both natural and man made. Due to this love, I also really enjoy finding ways to limit my negative impacts on the globe and on other people and living things.
I also adore music. Especially attending concerts, collecting immense amounts of cds, cassette tapes, etc, and squeaking out some jams myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time this man got on the public bus and asked the driver if it was illegal to play guitar. The driver replied that it was not illegal, so the man proceeded to sit down at the front of the bus and began playing guitar. He played Italian standards, and some how convinced a public bus full of strangers to join in for the chorus of "That's Amore." Not even joking.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can definitely teach anyone to make an origami lotus flower... unless you do not have hands. That might make it tricky, but I will simply make one for you if that is the case.
I love to share bands with people and explore music in general.
With that, I love local and live events - music, comedy, poetry, theater, etc. If you are staying with me or just visiting and looking for such things, I would love to take you!!!
I also do a lot of weird/random activities, that depending on how weird/random you are I can bring you to (such as running around public places playing hide-and-go-seek-tag...)
What I Can Share with Hosts
- Space to sleep
- Likely a meal or two
- Opinions on what to do in Edmonton
- Craft supplies :)
