Overview
About Me
I'm currently working on my PhD in English and Indigenous Studies at the University of Washington in Seattle. I'm not as much fun as I used to be, haha, as I work A LOT. But: part of that work is on the Olympic Peninsula, so I can give you a ride there when I go to work there and scoop you on the way back. My below description is still real, I would think, but I now spend a lot of time at home, working or relaxing, and playing music (although my bands are mostly inactive right now). I drink a lot of coffee and eat vegan food and don't have a lot of free time or money but still try to get outside when I can. My futon is the world's most uncomfortable and I live in a studio so you have to sleep in the same space I live in, but (depending on my work schedule) you are likely welcome to come stay.
about me:
I love life and try to live it actively. I'm queer, a strong advocate of equality for all people, a huge fan of trees and water and mountains, and I love live music. I'm into all kinds of music from Marvin Gaye, Led Zeppelin and the Bad Brains to Nas and pretty much the whole Creation Records catalog. Hardcore punk is my main deal. I don't drink, do drugs or smoke. I'm a vegan and I love cooking together. I love to dance, I'll dance to anything, but these days I don't often get a chance anymore. I love to read, I pretty much do it for a living. I love to do anything that involves being outdoors, but I do have a chronic pain condition, so there's some limits. And I am also a great fan of sleep and just hanging watching movies or playing boardgames. I go to the Olympic peninsula a lot for work and fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Roadtripping around the Olympic Peninsula with my CS friend now close friend Rena Bean and Tanja from Finland! Every single day was filled with a week's worth of beautiful nature, silly adventures, and fun. Rainforest, beaches, mountains, cliffs, elk, nice people, and cheap motels. Wild life in action.
