About me, I am Laura, 24 years old and I study International Communication and Media at the University in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The past year I have studied for six months at the University in Valencia, Spain and I worked as a marketing intern at a concert hall in the Netherlands. When I am not working, or studying, I love to discover new music, try out a new (vegetarian) recipe, go out for a run, practice Pilates, visit a concert or go to an art exhibition. I am an easygoing and considerate person.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am currently in the Netherlands where I am finishing my degree at the University. To attain my degree I am going to write a thesis for which part of my research is going to take place in LA. So that is why I am flying to LA in February for a three-month long visit.

Music; I love to descover new and upcoming artists but I also love oldies. My taste in music varies from Dave Brubeck to Tame Impala, Mac Demarco, to Jimi Hendrix and the Doors. The most recent concert I went to was from Allah-Las.
Movies; I love to watch indie, sundance and IDFA.
Books; Mostly non-fictional, (auto)biographics and books about travel. Authors such as Jack Kerouac and Patti Smith.

Lived in Spain for six months where I learned Spanish and studied at the Univesity of Valencia.
