Go everywhere and see everything! A tall order I know, but there you go! Seriously... I am one of those people that embrace everything... no expectations, whatever happens, whatever comes my way, owever it turns out, it is all just part of the adventure!

ABOUT ME

I am 35 years old, single, independent and feeling adventurous... bring it on! I am currently working as an Au Pair, so that I can travel and experience new things. I do not consider myself to be a 'party person', but am open minded and always willing to go with the flow, try new things and who knows... Join the party?

PHILOSOPHY

Like I said, its all about the adventure at the moment, and all of life is an adventure, whether that means I am sitting in the park watching children play or out on the town, or visiting a museum... I love it all!

I have only just heard of this, but I love the concept... once I am back home, I cant wait to host! At the moment though, I work as an Au PAir and live with the family, so....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but a friend of mine has done it a lot, and was surprised I had never heard of it. Now I cant wait!

Interests

I am interested in Art and writing - I am taking art classes here in The Netherlands, and busy writing a book. I also love history and anything old. I had an organic garden at home that supplied our family restaurant with fresh produce. I used to own a candle making factory, and manufacture custom made candles by hand.

Sound of Music, Grease, Chicago, Hairspray, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Music: I love everything, from opera to hard rock and symphonic metal.
Books: Too many to count, but my favorite author is Terry Pratchett

Saw Giraffes in the wild - made me cry (no jokes, it surprised the hell out of me too!)
Sailed from Cape Town to St. Helena on a yacht - took 13 days and was an epic adventure.
