ABOUT ME
I currently divide my time between central Alberta, Montréal and North Carolina, caregiving in each local. Prior to this stage of my life, I was a teacher, journalist and community organizer. I'm passionate about human and civil rights, nature and simple living. I'm queer and neurodivergent.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've both couch surfed and hosted and enjoy the vibe of being with people who are traveling or who like to travel, and the chance to have community while on the road.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I "couchsurfed" through western Europe in the 1980s before the Web existed, and have hosted "couchsurfers" since the 1970s. Using CS, I've couchsurfed in Canada on my own as well as in Montreal and across the US with my child.
