About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn with people around the world, and teach then what I know...try to make this place a better world in social and politcal ways.

ABOUT ME

I guess that if I could describe myself in one word it would be curious! I guess this is the reason I want to surf and host people from everywhere in the world, with all kinds of culture, habits, thoughts and behaviors.
The difference is the most beautiful thing in the world, is what make people so unique and similar at the same time. Sharing the differences is the best way to grow as a person...so, share experiences, share your thoughts, share a conversation, share your kindness, friends, love, knowledge, share a couch!

I'm a really calm and peacefull person, who loves to ask about everything and to talk about all kinds of subject (mainly if its about cinema or human rights).
There is only one think that I hate: intolerance (remember about the differences I said before?) People need to be free to be whatever they want, and nobody has the right to judge it...lets try to see people from different perspectives, lets try not to think about ourselves all the time, lets be generous and think outside the box! Intolerance cause many social injustices and I do everything I can to end with it.
What I love? being with friends, good music (rock, eletronic, brazilian music and whatever you want to show me), dance like nobody is watching, nature, good and simple moments of life...I realy don't need much to be happy, just give me some music, faithful friends and a beautiful view to relax...and maybe some beer or some other stuff...

PHILOSOPHY

Think outside of your box!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love classic movies from sixties, seventies...cult movies, drama movies...some of them:
Modern Times, La Vie En Rose, Good bye Lenin, Breakfast at Tiffanys, Trainspotting, Memento, City of God, Rain Man, Eyes Wide Shut, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, Kill Bill, Irreversible, The Dreamers, Pulp Fiction, American History, Requiem For A Dream, The Shining, Talk To Her, The Hours...

I love the music from my country, Brasil! Nação Zumbi, Marisa Monte, Raul Seixas, Los Hermanos, Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso, Legião Urbana, Novos Baianos, Mutantes, etc.
And some international rock bands like Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Strokes, System of a Down, etc.

I love all kind of books, Fiction or non ficton, but not self help ones!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Work in a ONG for 2 months in Colombia. I lived for 2 months in a suburban neighborhood in Cartagena de Índias, worked with amazing children in a volunteer program. It was the best experience of my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn is one of the things I most like to do...so, don't mind if I start talking and asking a lot...the most wonderfull part of traveling the world is that it provides you the posibility of learning with the other about cultures, religions, foods and to respect every kind of people! This kind of knowledge, is the most precious, because it's not on the books and you decide the way you're going to get to reach it...
So, I'll be glad to teach you a lot of things about my country: dances, musics (witch I just love), foods, our history, our mix of races and cultures and our way to enjoy life with few. I still can teach you how to juggle, to play some percussion instruments...and explain some things about feminism, the LGBT movement and other social movements...
And please, share with me everything you can! Every kind of knowledge is important, it doesn't matter what!
