ABOUT ME

I am Laura, 30. An ESL Teacher from Catalonia. I have just returned from the States and settled down in my hometown after I decided to stop the real life for a few to learn from the world. I'm friendly, open minded and easy going person who always wanted to see what's outside of the bubble we've born in.

Love meeting new people from other and very different cultures, it keep me exited to know other ways to think and how different and similar people are at the same time.

I'm a very sportive person, love to swim and hike - best way to discover a city it's on foot.

There's 5 things that really makes me happy: food, beer, music - there's a soundtrack for every moment- nature and travel. Photography is how I write my journal and I couldn't live without soccer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There's no better way discover a place than from locals. I enjoy to get lost in the cities I visit and walk around as much as I can you feel the atmosphere, the colors, music and see people through their routines. I also love to stay in hostels, that way I meet new people, share tips, experiences and make unexpected plans which are always the best ones.

I deeply love travel, since this was the decision to move to the states I travel every time I have the chance. This is how I met the Couchsurfing community and it couldn't have been any better.
Right know I am not able to host but I'm looking forward to it as soon as I can. Meanwhile I'd love to show around my beautiful town and surroundings to travelers.

Interests

Love meeting new people, It's the best way to learn form other cultures and share experiences.

I would never say no to food and if it's with a beer or a glass of wine even better.

Creative minds and activities keep my attention and music is essencial for living. Each moment has a special soundtrack.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've seen a lot of movies, a lot! I'm addicted to the tv series and about music.... every moment has their own music, can't list groups or styles but my basics are rock, indie, electronic in the experimental way.
Jazz, rock'n roll, blues and folk since I was born.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping in the top of the mountain under the stars is just the begining I'd love to share talking with a beer.
