About Me
## FOR SURFERS; MY RULES
⛔ This is not a dating platform.
⛔ Don't request to surf if you never hosted (or don't have a valid reason not to)
⛔ Don't ask for more than 4 nights
⛔ Don't flake! If I accept to host you and your plans change, let me know before your arrival day.
✔️ Read my whole profile & home section.
✔️ Send requests, not messages.
✔️ Make me feel like I was chosen. Find our common interests, explain why we would get along :)
✔️ Introduce yourself. Also make sure your profile is not (near) empty. If you can, leave links about your social media profiles: facebook, twitter, instagram, github, ... and do the same for any friend you may are bringing.
I always answer with a message so if I didn't, you did a mistake following (at least) one of those rules. If you're interested in the "why" and don't know already, feel free to ask. I'm really trying to be helpful and I love people but this platform, when you live near Paris, is more than exhausting (I receive more than 15 requests per day)... Please be understanding :)
By the way, I work a lot for both personal and professional reasons, I do a lot of things and I'm always running from here and there. So I hardly have time, even on week ends. You're warned!
## CURRENT MISSION
I'm seeking the truth, the meaning of life and the Ultimate Question of life, the universe and everything.
## ABOUT ME
I am:
* a student in computer engineering
* devoted to work in algorithms, mathematics and programming. Currently learning more about Artificial Intelligence.
* a friendly and cool person who happen to be very little (let' say it's cute)
* a sporty vegan
* living with animals (mostly cats or dogs. I don't own them, they are rescued animals that I take care of while waiting for their adoption)
I didn't have the love to travel until I lived few months in Tallinn, Estonia for an internship. Since then, I can't stay at home for too long and have a strong will to explore the world and all the secrets each country is hiding :3.
## PHILOSOPHY
Stand up for what you believe in.
Failure is just part of the process to success.
Don't let others get into your path or discourage you. Anything you want, just go for it :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I have a couch. :D I think that it is great to have a couch-network and I want to be part of it. I'm all into open-source software and community-based actions/projects. Also I like to help and it's great to meet new people, especially travellers with stories, tips and experiences to share :)
` If you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room. `
There is always someone smarter and better than you at something, and I guess I'm looking in CS a room to better myself :)
I'm sharing the "usual" travelling love: discover new places, cultures, and meet locals! I'm interested in knowing details about what it's like to live there, what stories surround all the places I come through. I think the best way to travel is the closest to locals and that's why couchsurfing is really interesting. Also, I'd rather spend my money treating my host & have quality time with, than giving it to a multinational hostel company and find myself feeling alone in a room.
Please write the name of your favorite animal(s) in your request so I know you read at least until here :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
let's rename that by
# Amazings Things I've Done
* Swam in the catacombs of Paris
* Walked on underground railway while trains were sleeping
* Visited 9 new countries from Central Europe including 17 cities in 32 days, mostly using couchsurfing and hitchhiking. (because that's the exact amount of time I had for vacation)
Teach, Learn, Share
* Great article for both hosts and surfers: http://francistapon.com/Travels/Advice/How-to-be-a-Good-Couchsurfing-Guest-and-Host
* Pumpkins and squashes are fruits. (By definition a fruit is an organ containing seeds. Banana and ananas are fruits that lost their seeds due to human selection in centuries of farming).
* 42 is "the critical angle" (rounded) to whole degrees for which a rainbow appears.
* https://gist.github.com/ is a awesome tool to publish or share code and keep it updated afterwards.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Personal:
* My love for life! I'll bring smile and my happy-calmness in your life as I do with mine :D
* Stories. From me and everyone who crossed my path. Modulo my memory.
* Time. I'm planning in going solo on a adventure so will be happy to spend time with whoever is motivated in hanging out. I'll enjoy various kind of activities, especially the ones I don't know already!
Skills:
* As a native french, I can help you learn or practice it.
* I'm a great cook, and can do french specialities ^^ I can even adapt to different/specific diets (for religious, athletes, vegeta*ians, x-intolerant, ...) as I have good knowledge in nutrition.
* I have various IT skills so I may be able to fix things if you need. Also have a hardware/DIY background. If you are interested in programming I can prepare courses/introduction for you depending on your level. Or for your childrens, little sisters/brothers or mother, really I'll be happy to share my passion :D
* I'm also a beginner in singing but, well, I suggest you not to ask that
