About Me
I'm an open-minded person interested in plenty of fields like sustainable agriculture, energy and climate, social justice, economy... To many things at once! I'm currently completing a PhD on plant-fungi interactions in Paris, and wish to work in education. I'd like to help raise awarness of children about climatic and social challenges.
I also love reading, cooking and hicking, especially in deserts. I felt in love with deserts during my first trip outside Europe, in Marocco and the Atlas mountains, before discovering the Negev desert and three years ago South Africa.
I'm very interested in botany and plants uses, I like to grow plants especially if I can eat or drink it, and I have plenty of fermentated stuff at home like bread starter, kefir or kumbucha. I also like manual work and DIY (my new passion is currently woodturning!) - even if I'm not as gifted as I would like to be ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling, but not alone! I prefer to meet people, share food and discover new places thanks to locals. My first couchsurfing experience was really cool, we shared French recipes and romantic French songs with an English couple, spent a lot of time laughing and talking about everything!
