About Me

CURRENT MISSION

keep it fun, life's too short to bother

ABOUT ME

Curious to meet and share experiences with people from all around our planet Earth. Enjoy outdoor activities with friends as well as strangers encountered on the way... Getting lost, the best way to explore!
After 8 years in Cape Town, South Africa, I lived 4 years in Hawaii before returning to France in late 2019 to start a new adventure, returning to uni to study architecture :)

PHILOSOPHY

Why do I live my life ?
Because it's worth it, and looking up into the universe one realizes how precious it is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Lived in a shared house for a while with lots of hosting of friends of friends... it's how couchsurfing started isn't it :)
Couch surfed in Tanzania and again went the friends of friends many times and always ended up meeting great people with amazing stories!
After being on couchsurfing for a couple years and joining few CS meetings/events, I started hosting while I was living in Hawaii, having my own house and a room for guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started with joining events and have now hosted a handful of people, and had the pleasure of being a guest in Dar es Salaam!

Interests

Waow, this could be a long list... Well few ones:
hiking, surfing, teaching astronomy, jazz and music in general, tap dancing, spend time with friends, family and other fellow wanderers

But those are best discussed over a great meal and a glass of wine !

Music, Movies, and Books

That could also be a long list leading to a long chat but if I had to pick few...
movie: la fille sur le pont (Patrice Leconte), for the light, for the acting, for the poetry... all of it, I never tire of watching it.
book: mon Bel oranger (José Mauro de Vasconcellos), Body Art(Don DeLillo), my favorite as a child and because Don DeLillo
music: Claude Nougaro, Radiohead, because it's home and it's jazz, because I have listen it all and if I have to pick 1 on my rock list it will be them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen it more then done it, but I was part of it:
The smile of kids when they look through a telescope.

Teach, Learn, Share

TEACH
Whenever I can light curiosity in a kid's eye... education should be free and open for everyone. Huge supporter and tiny contributor to Open Education.

LEARN
From everyone, anywhere, anytime... always keep your eyes, ears and mind open, learning is the easiest.

SHARE
sharing is caring... I am trying my best but I don't always care and share as much as I could.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I looooove cooking, and am always curious about other people's food, so I'd start with a meal.
A good meal is always best if there is great stories coming with it, I have few and will gladly listen to yours.

Definitely keen on getting outdoors and explore the place I've lived in or visited. I could share traveling tips.
